Ladbrokes Sister Sites

Ladbrokes sister sites are Coral, Foxy Bingo, bwin, Gala Bingo and Sportingbet. Every one of those websites belongs to a single Gibraltar licensee, LC International Limited, while the betting shops carrying this same name belong to a separate London company on a licence of its own.

🔢 3 of the 4 files carry this name

👥 The near-copy, the bingo room and the football book

Five brands share this licence and none of them plays the same way. The three below were chosen because each one answers a different reason for leaving this site: wanting the same thing under another sign, wanting bingo instead of a bet slip, or wanting football without a shop behind it.

Coral

🌊 The same four screens, three words apart · Last Researched On 9 August 2026

This is the nearest match on the whole licence, and the one web address in the group ending .co.uk rather than .com. The way in matches screen for screen: the only differences are a reset control reading Start over instead of Clear address, a submit button reading Create my account instead of Create your account, and one fewer policy document named at step two. The logo also carries a centenary mark.

Foxy Bingo

🦊 One web address, two licence files · Last Researched On 9 August 2026

Only one brand in this group has its web address sitting on two different licences at once, and this is it: live on the Entain online file, dormant on the 888 UK one. The footer is close to bare, with four social icons, a single licensing line and eight compliance marks, but no terms link, no privacy link and no sitemap. Player rewards here are counted in Foxy Dollars.

Sportingbet

⚽ Two live addresses, one filed name · Last Researched On 9 August 2026

Football leads the product here, which puts it nearest to this site without any high street counter standing behind it. It is also the one brand on the licence carrying a second live web address of its own, sports.sbet.com, and that second address holds no filed name whatsoever. The name itself goes down as sporting bet, in two words, so searching the spelling used on screen finds nothing.

The remaining two sisters are worth naming as well. Gala Bingo carries the busiest set of names anywhere on this licence, five of them against three web addresses. bwin is the opposite extreme: one name, one address, and nothing whatsoever on the shop licence.

🏦 Three accounts carry this name, and a fourth does not

Look this brand up on the business side of the public list and three files come back. That is unusual, because all three belong to the same group. Nothing unconnected turns up at all, which is not true of the searches on coral, gala or foxy.

The first is LC International Limited, working out of Suite 6, Atlantic Suites in Gibraltar, GX11 1AA, holding every website in the group and not one premises. The second is Ladbrokes Betting and Gaming Limited, at One Stratford Place, Montfichet Road in London E20 1EJ, holding 2,683 shops between the two high street names and no web addresses whatsoever. The third is a charitable file, Ladbrokes Coral Trust, whose two names are both dormant and whose lottery permission is now shown as Surrendered.

📌 When each permission started

  • Gibraltar, online: six remote permissions, every one of them running from 1 July 2019.
  • London, shops: non-remote betting and pool betting from 1 January 2009, virtual-event betting from 31 July 2009, remote bingo and casino from 1 November 2014, gambling software from 23 January 2015, two further software permissions from 15 March 2019, and an ancillary remote betting permission from 8 April 2020.
  • Charitable file: a single lottery permission that opened 31 March 2010 and closed 10 April 2025.
  • Entain Operations Limited, the fourth file: five remote permissions from 2 February 2021, and this brand name appears on none of them.

That fourth file is the one the name search never reaches. It shares the Gibraltar address with the online licensee, files no web address and no trading name at all, and its permissions are mostly about supply rather than sale: hosting bingo and betting that surface under other brands, plus building the software underneath. Only one of the five reads like an ordinary consumer licence. It is also the only company in the group whose own name contains the word Entain.

Which company you are actually dealing with changes with the channel. Open an account on a phone and the company you are dealing with is in Gibraltar. Hand over a slip at a shop counter and it is in London. Two companies, two head offices, and the public list is the only place that says so plainly.

💼 The extra screen Coral players never reach

The join route was read as a structure on 9 August 2026. It runs four screens, and then a fifth appears that asks for nothing.

📑 The four screens, in order

  • Set up your account takes a password, a User ID, an email address and a mobile number that accepts the +44 prefix.
  • Let us get to know you asks for a title, then a surname and a forename, then a date of birth, then a postcode search with a hand-typed route behind it. Three documents get named here: the Terms, the Age and Identity Verification Policy, and the Privacy Policy.
  • Verifying your details collects nothing. It is an interstitial that runs before anything more is asked.
  • Deposit limit is optional, badged Recommended, with a Skip for now route past it.

The fifth panel is where the two high street brands part company. Headed Stay secure with fund protection, it says customer balances are looked after by a trustee acting independently, and puts the level of that protection at High. The Coral flow stops before this point and never shows it. Everything before it is word for word the same on both sites, and only three details separate them: this one names three policy documents where Coral names two, its reset control says Clear address where Coral says Start over, and its final button says Create your account where Coral says Create my account.

🔍 What left this account, and what never belonged to it

One name that used to sit alongside these has gone. Betdaq, the betting exchange bought in 2013 for £30 million, was sold back to its original backer in a deal confirmed on 25 November 2021. Its web address is filed today to an entirely different licensee, and nothing on this account refers to it any more.

What this site carries that its twin does not is easier to see. Game Shows and an Arcade both sit in the top navigation here and appear nowhere in the Coral one, although Coral keeps a Game Show Reviews link down in its footer, which suggests both front ends are drawn from one library. Below the main bar sit 1-2-FREE and Club Ladbrokes, where Coral puts Coral Rewards and Free To Play into a sidebar. The shirt deal here is Liverpool, as official sports betting partner, against Birmingham City there. And the social row here includes Instagram, which the Coral footer leaves out.

📜 What both footers say in the same words

  • Both name LC International Limited as the operator of the site.
  • Both carry the same eight compliance marks: an 18 plus roundel, Take Time to Think, the National Gambling Helpline for GamCare, Gordon Moody, GAMSTOP, IBAS, the Gambling Commission and GambleAware.
  • Both carry Shop Locator and Shop Rules, aimed at shops held by a different company on a different licence.
  • Both copyright lines read 2026.

⚠ Named in both settlements, missing from both actions lists

The two trading accounts each show a zero where an action would be listed, and the actions list itself comes back blank whether the search runs on a company name or on a brand name. Neither zero is wrong. Both are answers to a narrow question: what stands recorded right now against a licence that is still in force.

The first announcement came on 31 July 2019 and put £5.9m on failings running between November 2014 and October 2017. It named two licensees, Ladbrokes Betting and Gaming Limited and Coral Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, and the company that holds these websites today was not one of them. £4.8m of the total stood in place of a financial penalty and was met by GVC as the incoming owner, with a further £1.1m of profit handed back. A review of the fifty biggest customers from 2015 to 2017 came with it, plus retraining, new hires and reworked customer-interaction processes. One published case involved a player staking £1.5m across two years and ten months with no evidence of source of funds ever sought, logging in ten times a day on average for a month and losing £64,000 inside it.

The second came on 17 August 2022 and was £17m, split £3m against the shop licensee and £14m against the online one, and directed to socially responsible causes rather than handed over as a penalty. Two licence conditions were attached, one placing a named board member in charge of the improvement plan and the other requiring an independent audit inside a year. In the shops the findings recorded one month in which a player staked £29,372 and lost £11,345 with no escalation at all, eight months in which another put £168,000 through shop terminals before any due diligence took place, and a delivery driver down £17,000 over a year who was never escalated either.

📋 Three things those zeros do not tell you

  • Neither package was a fine. One was money in lieu of a penalty plus profit given up; the other went to socially responsible causes.
  • The 2022 announcement put the shop count at 2,746. Today it reads 2,683, and four years separate the two readings.
  • Anyone reading the two zeroes as a clean record is out by £22.9m.

🔒 One licensee, one restriction, two brands

A licence attaches to a company rather than to a logo, and on the online side one company stands behind thirteen live web addresses. Whatever you agree with that company applies across every one of them, whichever front end you happen to be looking at.

The 2022 findings carry a case showing what happens when that does not hold. A player was stopped at one brand after twelve months in which losses reached £60,000 and no evidence of source of funds arrived. The same person was let straight into a second brand on the same licence and pushed £30,000 through it within a day. Letting a customer under enquiry or restriction open an account with a second brand held by the same licensee was written up as a social responsibility failure, and licence conditions followed.

GAMSTOP is the scheme sitting above all of this. Being part of it is compulsory for anyone holding a British remote licence, and one block there closes off every gambling site licensed in Britain, whoever holds the licence behind it. That reach belongs to the scheme and not to the shape of this particular group.

  • ✅ Safe: Reading the footer line and checking the company named in it against the public list. Every live site in this group names its operator outright, and the web address search returns one file rather than three.
  • ❌ Costly: Assuming a complaint about a shop and a complaint about the website land in the same place. They are two companies, two head offices and two separate licences, and only one of them holds any web address at all.
