Two things have happened to PlaySunny, not one, and it is easy to run them together. The brand stopped taking new signups. Separately, the company behind its licence changed. Neither caused the other, and this page keeps them apart, starting with the licence and finishing with what the closed signups actually mean for a player.

Solaya Group Limited is the company Playsunny.co.uk answers to now, a Gibraltar-based licensee whose Gambling Commission permission started on 11 November 2025 and stretches across online bingo, online casino and the software running underneath both. Dazzletag Entertainment Limited, the business PlaySunny sat under before, remains an Active company in its own right, yet nothing it once operated is still switched on, every domain and every trading name it carried reads Inactive today.

🚫 Closed to new signups, not closed for good
PlaySunny is still a licensed, trading brand, and nothing here is a closure notice. What actually happens: press the button to open a new account and the site returns a message saying new players are not currently being accepted, a message still showing when checked on 8 August 2026. Anyone who already holds an account keeps full use of it, logging in, playing and cashing out all continue exactly as before. The two states sit side by side on purpose, an operator can leave a brand fully open for existing custom while pausing new signups entirely, and that is precisely where PlaySunny stands today.
👥 Casushi and the rest of the roster
Five names moved onto the current licensee alongside PlaySunny, joined by a sixth, newer brand that never featured on an older Dazzletag list at all. All six share the cashier and the support desk PlaySunny itself uses today, the real reason to know them rather than trust a roster written before the switch.
A seventh name, Lucky Cat Games, sits on the same account without a card of its own: the licence record marks it Inactive, present but not currently running, as read in August 2026.
📍 One company, two Gibraltar addresses
Gibraltar hosts both addresses tied to the current licensee: the PlaySunny footer names Finsbury House, 32 Line Wall Road, while the public record itself gives a different head office line for the same company, Suite 849 Europort, Europort Road. Nothing sinister sits behind the mismatch, a business can hold a filing address and a head office separately, but a player comparing the footer against the record line for line should expect the two not to match exactly.
🔍 Reading the zero the right way
Look at the enforcement side and both companies come back clean on paper: no action recorded against Solaya Group Limited, none against Dazzletag Entertainment Limited either, and a search of the listings returns nothing for either name in the August 2026 check. Treat that narrowly rather than as reassurance: it means the file is empty for these two accounts specifically, not that either company carries a clean history everywhere else.
