None of the five below has a page on this site, so none of them is linked. The file and the live sites give one clear separator for each.
📌 One separating fact per brand
- Monopoly Casino runs on a theme licensed from Hasbro, whose copyright at the foot of the site is dated from 1935. A section of Monopoly games sits beside the slots, along with a bingo room, and the board-game look carries across every screen.
- Bally Casino is filed as ballycasino.co.uk yet trades on screen as Bally Bet, the largest difference anywhere here between the filed address and the name a player actually sees. It is the newest brand on the account and it runs a sportsbook next to the casino.
- Rainbow Riches occupies seven of the thirteen filed addresses without being seven casinos. Two of those seven, opened on 14 August 2026, delivered one identical website leading on Slingo, and the copyright underneath belongs to Barcrest Group Limited.
- Double Bubble Bingo puts bingo ahead of casino and holds its address under its own name. Alone among the four sites opened, it prints a single Gibraltar licence reference at the bottom rather than two.
- Megaways Casino no longer has permission behind it. Its address is the one Inactive entry on a file where every other line reads Active or White Label.
🔑 The licence underneath the Virgin name
The Virgin name here is licensed, not owned. Gamesys Operations Limited bought the right to use it in 2013 and there is no ownership link to the Virgin group, so what sits behind the branding is one British gambling account run out of Waterport Place in Gibraltar, from Suite 2 on the fourth floor.
From 1 November 2014 that account has held remote bingo and remote casino. Betting on real events joined it on 23 May 2016, and betting on virtual events on 29 August 2024. All four permissions are Active, all four are marked Remote because the play happens on a screen, and no premises are filed against the account at any point.
The Gambling Commission publishes the account, and the trading-names table on it is empty. That is unusual, because that table is normally where a group lists the words it may trade under. Here every brand is filed as a web address instead, and thirteen of them are on record.
📋 How the thirteen addresses are marked
- Three read Active under their own names: Bally Casino, Jackpotjoy and Double Bubble Bingo.
- Nine read White Label, and virgingames.com is one of the nine.
- One reads Inactive, and that is megawayscasino.com.
- The Rainbow Riches name covers seven entries by itself, so a count of addresses and a count of casinos are not the same number.
White Label reads as though a second company is involved, and it is not. It marks borrowed intellectual property: a Hasbro theme at one address, a Barcrest copyright at another, a Virgin name at this one. Each of the four sites opened on 7 August 2026 gives Gamesys Operations Limited as the operator, so a complaint raised at any of them lands with the same Gibraltar business.
⚠ The 2023 penalty, and a 2019 case with no entry
Between November 2021 and July 2022 the operator failed on four counts: preventing money laundering and terrorist financing, the extra duty that falls on operators sitting outside Great Britain, the social responsibility rules on customer interaction, and the guidance issued to casinos on that same subject. Customers got round anti-money-laundering triggers and paid in heavily without checks, deposit limits picked harm up too slowly, and responsible gambling contacts suggested new games instead of real help.
The decision came on 22 November 2023 and was published on 10 January 2024. It cost Gamesys Operations Limited £6,071,292 in total, a figure that carries £165,042 of divested money inside it, plus a formal warning, an added licence condition and a third-party audit. On the other side of the notice, the operator co-operated, said it had already corrected the failings, and the accounts looked at held nothing showing criminal money. The licence is still in force.
Gamesys (Gibraltar) Limited is the name on the other case. On 11 June 2019 a settlement worth roughly £1.2m was announced against that company: £460,472 given back to people whose stolen money had been played on its sites, and £690,000 paid instead of a penalty, after police followed three individuals paying in stolen funds. Look that company up on the business list now and nothing is returned, and the settlement does not appear in the enforcement list either. A counter showing 1 therefore describes a licence as it stands rather than everything that has happened under the group.
🏆 The reward that leaves gambling behind
V Points are the one thing on this licence that turn play into something outside gambling, because they convert into Virgin Atlantic air miles. No other brand on the account offers anything of the kind, and for a player who flies with that airline it is a stronger reason to choose this name than the games or the payment methods, which are shared across the group anyway. Casino sits at the front of the site where the bingo brands put bingo, and the layout is the plainer of the two.
🔎 The name that looks like a sister and is not
virginbet.com does not sit on this licence. It belongs to Virgin Bet Limited, a separate company on a separate account with its own trading name and its own permissions. The two share four letters and nothing on the file, so anyone treating them as one operator would be wrong about who holds the money, wrong about who answers a complaint, and wrong about which enforcement record applies.
🔒 A limit that carries over, and a block that does not
A deposit limit set here applies at the other Gamesys brands automatically, because they run on one shared platform. Self-exclusion behaves differently. Shutting this account leaves Jackpotjoy, Monopoly Casino and the rest open, and each of them has to be closed on its own. One block does reach every British-licensed remote operator at the same moment, and that is the national scheme, which works that way for every British licence rather than because of anything particular to this group.
