Bet St George has 9 sister sites, all of them sharing its betting software rather than its licence: AK Bets, BestOdds, BetWright, BresBet, DragonBet, London Bet, Planet Sport Bet, PricedUp and StarSports. Each one belongs to a different company, so the firm holding your money changes with the brand. Nothing else at all trades on the Bet St George licence.

⚽ 9 sister sites 📋 No trading names on the file
⚽ The nine, and who stands behind each one
Each of the nine is licensed to a different company. That company holds your money, answers a complaint and runs the identity check, and it changes with the brand even though the software does not.
AK Bets
Sports, casino and virtuals, run from Dublin
Sports, casino, virtuals and a tips section, run from Dublin. Akbo Limited holds the licence.
PricedUp
The oldest licence of the nine
Sports, casino, bingo and virtuals behind one login. Off Course Bookmakers Limited holds the licence, the oldest of the nine and the only one that also carries a betting shop permission.
BetWright
Bet builders at the centre of the sportsbook
A sportsbook built around bet builders, with a rewards hub that has to be switched on before anything counts. Onyx Gaming Limited holds the licence.
London Bet
Pitched at the capital, with live tables
Sports, virtuals, a casino and live tables, pitched at the capital. Thistle Bet Limited holds the licence.
BresBet
Its own zones for horse and greyhound racing
Sports betting and a casino together, with separate zones given to horse and greyhound racing. BresBet Ltd holds the licence, from an office in Sheffield.
DragonBet
Welsh football and the four rugby regions
A Welsh bookmaker leading on Welsh football and the four Welsh rugby regions. DragonBet Ltd holds the licence.
StarSports
A racing and football media arm of its own
A bookmaker with its own racing and football media arm alongside the betting. Star Racing Limited holds the licence and has been trading since 2010.
BestOdds
The newest of the nine
Sports, football and racing sections with a casino behind them, reached at bet.bestodds.com. Razorbill Links Limited holds the licence.
Planet Sport Bet is the ninth. Its licence shows Planet Bet Limited behind the brand, with www.planetsportbet.com filed as White Label, which on that file means the business selling under the name and the business holding the licence are two different companies.
📋 What the nine actually share
The nine share software, not ownership. It decides what a site feels like to use, and it decides nothing about who is holding your balance.
The software comes from Playbook Engineering Limited, which holds a British licence of its own. Gambling software was switched on there in February 2018, and four more followed together in May 2025: hosting casino games, hosting bingo, and taking bets on real and on virtual events. A hosting permission is what a firm needs to run games on behalf of another business, which is exactly what a software supplier does.
Learn one of these sites and you have learned all nine. Which company is holding your money is a separate question, and the answer changes with the brand.
🔍 What that means for you
The look, the bet builder and the casino lobby are the same on all nine
The business holding your money is different on every one
A complaint about any of them goes to that business and stops there
🔍 Two of the nine work from the same office
The licence file puts something on the record that looking at the websites would never show. BresBet Ltd gives its head office as Office 624, Block 2 Spaces, Pennine 5, Hawley Street, Sheffield. The Bet St George file gives Office 624 in that same Block 2 Spaces at Pennine 5 in Sheffield. Same office number, same building, filed against two separate licences.
It is not the only pairing on the list. DragonBet Ltd and Thistle Bet Limited, the company behind London Bet, both give 2 Alexandra Gate in Cardiff. Off Course Bookmakers Limited, behind PricedUp, and Star Racing Limited, behind StarSports, both give Star House on Old Shoreham Road in Hove.
There is also an older entry still on the file. The address akbets.bet is Active on Akbo Limited, and the very same address sits on Star Racing Limited marked Inactive. AK Bets was on the StarSports licence before it was on one of its own.
📋 Three addresses that appear twice
Office 624, Pennine 5, Sheffield: Bet St George Ltd and BresBet Ltd
2 Alexandra Gate, Cardiff: DragonBet Ltd and Thistle Bet Limited
Star House, Old Shoreham Road, Hove: Off Course Bookmakers Limited and Star Racing Limited
A shared address is a shared address and nothing more. It does not put two brands on one licence, and all of it sits on the public file for anybody to check.
🎰 What the file on Bet St George shows
No company may take bets from British customers without a licence from the Gambling Commission, and every licence is a public file that anybody can read at no charge. Account 67818 belongs to Bet St George Ltd.
Most files answer the sister question straight away, because a business signs up the names it trades under, and a firm running six brands usually has six entries to read. This one has none: it shows no trading names whatever. That is not a hole in the paperwork. Bet St George Ltd is the company and Bet St George is the brand, so there was never a second name that would need filing. The one identifier held is the web address www.betstgeorge.com, and it is marked Active.
Four permissions sit on the file and all four are Active: betting on real events, betting on virtual events, casino and bingo. They were switched on together in December 2025, and each of them covers gambling sold over the internet.
✅ In use: the sportsbook, in play markets, the casino, live tables and virtual sports were all on the site on 15 August 2026
❌ Not in use: bingo, which the file allows and which appears nowhere in the menu
A permission is room to act rather than a product on the shelf. Holding the bingo one means the company may run bingo without going back to ask for it. Whether it ever turns up is not a thing the file can answer.
What any of the nine is giving away this week is the fastest moving thing about it, and no part of that is set down here. Everything above comes off the public licence file, which will still read the same next month.
⚠️ Where a complaint would go
One company stands behind the site and there is nothing above it. Bet St George Ltd is recorded at Office 624, Block 2 Spaces, at Pennine 5 in Sheffield, postcode S1 2EA, and the licence was granted in December 2025, which makes it one of the youngest bookmaker licences in Britain.
💰 Worth knowing before you open an account
A dispute over a settled bet, a withdrawal that has not arrived or a request to close an account goes to that one company and stops there. Sharing software with nine other brands changes none of it, and there is no second brand on the same licence whose support desk might pick it up instead.
That is what the missing trading names amount to in practice. A group with six brands on one licence gives you six support desks looking at the same file. Here there is one.
🔗 More British bookmakers on file here
Planet Sport Bet is the ninth of the nine, and its own page carries its current terms. Midnite holds two British licences for a single brand, the second of them granted in August 2026. Betdaq does have a sister on its own licence, and its page sets out why that sister is not a second exchange.
