🔑 What the file records for LeoVegas Gaming PLC
One company, one account, and an unusually short chain behind it. LeoVegas Gaming PLC has held remote casino rights in Great Britain since 1 November 2014, added betting on real events on 29 April 2016, bingo on 26 February 2018, and betting on virtual events on 23 April 2025. That last line is the newest on the file and the only change to it in seven years. All four read Active, no premises appear anywhere, so the whole British business is online, and no trading names are recorded at all, which is why six brands exist on the account purely as web addresses. There is no white-label deal anywhere in this family and no platform company standing behind the brands, so the company that owns the names is also the company that holds the licence.

What the licence does not hold is worth as much as what it does. There is no gambling software permission, so this company may run casinos, betting and bingo but may not supply games to other operators. No lottery permission sits on it, and no pool betting either. Four, and no fifth.
🔎 The address most players type is not the one Britain licences
The flagship holds three of the eleven entries by itself. leovegas.co.uk is the Active one; leovegas.com and its www form both sit in the dormant half of the same file. British play therefore runs through the .co.uk address, even though the .com is the one most people would type from memory. Drop the www prefix from any of the six live addresses and the site puts it back for you, and none of them forwards to a different brand. Three of the five dormant entries are bingo addresses attached to no live brand at all: bingos.co.uk, bingogodz.com and bingoloopy.com each returned no page when opened on 13 August 2026, with no site, no forward and no closure notice.
⚠ Two fines, and an actions page that reads empty
On 2 May 2018 the Commission announced a £600,000 package. It had found 41 adverts that misled players, plus three separate failures around self-exclusion. Balances were never returned to 11,205 customers who had self-excluded and shut their accounts. Another 1,894 who had already self-excluded were sent marketing anyway. A further 413 were let back to gamble without being spoken to first and without the twenty-four hours the rules require before play can resume. The company also handed back what it had gained from the failings and paid for the investigation. On 3 August 2022 came a second penalty of £1.32 million, an official warning alongside it, and an order for an audit to check the policies were being applied in practice.
📋 What the 2022 case turned up
- Spend triggers for safer-gambling checks pitched well beyond what a typical customer puts through
- A compulsory 45-minute break only after six straight hours at the games, with no reasoning on file for that number
- Signs of harm left unactioned even though the company held its own policies covering them
- Money-laundering limits pitched so high they did little to control the risk, with too few questions asked about where customer funds began
Neither case shows against the account today, and four separate searches of the actions list on 13 August 2026 came back with nothing. A counter like that shows what stands against a licensed business now, not everything ever found against it: both cases were settled long ago and dropped off the file at that point, even though the licence they were made against remains Active. Anyone who opens the account, reads the zero and decides this operator has never been sanctioned is wrong twice over. Both dates above are announcement dates, because no decision date is published for either case.
🔒 One block covers all six brands
GAMSTOP is the national scheme, and a block taken through it shuts every British-licensed gambling site at once. Beneath that sits the account-level version, and the copy on leovegas.co.uk states it plainly: a block taken at LeoVegas also covers Slot Boss, 21.co.uk, Pink Casino, Bet UK and BetMGM. The sign-up route says the same thing. Every brand routes its join button to one shared page, and behind that page sits the same short two-step form, asking for an email address first and a password second, with everything personal held back to a later step. That route was open on all six sites on 13 August 2026. Six brands, one operation underneath. A sister brand is not a fresh start here.
📑 Names that sound like this one and are not
Look up leovegas on a business search and this one account comes back, on its own. The same holds for slot boss, pink casino, betmgm and 21.co.uk. A search on betuk returns two. The second belongs to iBet Global Limited, filing ibetuk.com, one letter longer and a different licensee with no connection to this company at all. Search the word vegas on its own and 37 results come back, from Sky Vegas to Vegas Amusements, and not one of them is connected to this account. Two entirely different companies even trade as Mr Vegas, and neither of them is this one.
- ✅ Safe: the five names above are the whole family, and a block taken at any one of them reaches the other five.
- ❌ Costly: assuming leovegas.com is the British site. It is filed dormant, and the .co.uk address is the one this licence covers.
🔗 Which sister suits slots and which suits tables
Slots players get the widest shelves at Slot Boss, where the reels now share the site with live casino, table games and Slingo, and table players get the most from 21.co.uk, the one brand here whose name and web address are the same string of characters.
