Six sister names are set out below, picked to show both halves of the licence file explained further down. Four of them are casinos White Hat sells under its own name and two are run for other companies, which is the same arrangement Karamba sits in. Each was opened on 15 August 2026. Two of the six have pages of their own here, the Spin Rider write-up and the Diamond 7 page, and the other four do not.
🔗 The Karamba name is on two licence files
Type karamba into the public search of licensed businesses and two files come back, not one. The first is the White Hat Gaming file this page is about. The second belonged to AG Communications Limited of Malta, a business covered on the Aspire Global page here, and it is now empty, with all seventy six web addresses on it stopped.
The trail runs across both. The address karamba.com is marked Inactive on the closed licence. The same address, written www.karamba.com, is marked Inactive on the White Hat licence as well. The casino itself is on neither of those lines. It trades from a third address, karamba.co.uk, which is listed as Active in the White Label column.
One web address is recorded as finished on two separate licences while the brand carrying the name is open on a third. Read either Inactive line on its own and Karamba looks shut. Griffon Casino Sister Sites covers a brand that did exactly the same thing.
📋 Four names that sit on both files
- Comparing the two files address by address on 15 August 2026 turned up four: Karamba, Griffon Casino, Bettarget and Hopa
- Three of the four retired the dot com, kept the British spelling and left a dead line behind on each licence
- Hopa carried www.hopa.com straight over instead, so nothing on the White Hat file marks it out as having moved
- What the pattern records is a change of licence holder, not a brand closing down
📱 What the Karamba site itself shows
Karamba was opened in August 2026. A casino, a sportsbook and a poker room share one balance on it, and a loyalty scheme turns money staked into points and points back into playable credit. None of the seven names White Hat trades under itself was carrying that combination at the time.
Karamba sells sport and poker alongside the casino. Casino games alone are what most of the names on this licence carry, and the two betting permissions that make a sportsbook lawful go unused on them. 🚫 Which of the eight stopped names really stopped
Eight addresses on the White Hat file are marked Inactive. Treating all eight as dead brands is wrong by three. Each of the eight names was searched the same way on 15 August 2026, and the answers split cleanly.
Karamba, Griffon Casino and Bettarget each returned two files. That is what a brand which changed licence holder looks like, rather than one that closed. The other five returned exactly one file apiece, and it was the White Hat one every time.

- No second licence anywhere in Britain holds any of those five names
Two files says the brand found somewhere else to trade. One file says it did not. On this licence that is true of five names out of eight rather than of all eight. Inactive does not mean deleted either, because the line stays where it is and anybody reading later can still see it was there.
💼 Where Karamba sits among the forty addresses
Gambling cannot lawfully be sold to players in this country unless the Gambling Commission has licensed the seller, and each licensed business gets a public file. The file behind Karamba is held by White Hat Gaming Limited. Forty web addresses sit on it: seven casinos White Hat sells under its own name, twenty five it runs for other companies, and eight that have stopped.
Forty is also the figure the counter above the list gives, and the tables underneath come to forty lines between them. Not every licence file read for this site does that. Some print one total at the top and a different number further down.
Karamba is one of the twenty five. White Label is the column an address goes into when the company that owns the name is not the company that holds the permission. Whoever owns the Karamba name sells it, and White Hat does the licensed work behind it, which covers the identity checks, the payouts and the answer to any complaint the brand cannot settle itself. All forty are listed on the White Hat Gaming address list.
📝 On the licence file, read 15 August 2026
- Five permissions run on it: bingo, casino, gambling software, plus one betting permission for real events and one for virtual
- All five began on 29 October 2018 and not one of them carries an end date
- The office printed on the file is the Cornerstone Business Centre in Mosta
- A Malta Gaming Authority licence dated 1 August 2018 sits beside the British one
Two office addresses are published for this licence holder and they are not the same one. The file gives Mosta. The footers of its own casinos give 85 St John Street in Valletta, read on the same day. The office a company files at home and the office a regulator prints are different things, so both can be right at once.

🔔 The settlement dated December 2020
An announcement dated 28 December 2020 is still published and it concerns this licence holder. White Hat Gaming paid £1.3 million after an assessment of how the business was meeting its licence conditions. The shortcomings described concerned players who were showing signs of gambling beyond their means, or moving sums that called for an explanation, and how slowly the operator spotted them and stepped in. The payment went towards work on reducing gambling harm nationally rather than being taken as a penalty.
Four websites appear by name in it. Two are dreamvegas.com and hellocasino.com. Alongside them sit grandivy.com and 21casino.com. Karamba is not among the four.
No published record gives the date the Karamba name arrived on this licence, so none is printed here. The identity checks, the questions about where money has come from and the ceilings applied to an account at Karamba are all run by this licence holder, and in 2020 the regulator said those systems fell short.

Whether a name here belongs to White Hat outright or to a partner changes who markets it and nothing else a player touches. Money, verification and complaints go to the same place in both cases.
