How to read an emptied licence entry
An Active licence carrying zero active domains looks like a contradiction, but the Gambling Commission is being literal: AG Communications keeps its permissions – casino, betting, bingo – while offering none of its 78 declared domains to players in Great Britain. hopa.com, magicred.com, casiplay.com, kingcasino.com, tradacasino.com and playfrank.com all sit Inactive alongside the better-known names, and no brand on account 39483 is currently open to British custom.
That makes domain-by-domain checking the only reliable habit. Several old Aspire addresses now belong to other stories entirely: slotzo.com serves a third-party slot-comparison page with affiliate disclosures, and mrmega.com carries an unrelated review site. A familiar URL proves nothing about who, if anyone, is licensed behind it – the Gambling Commission’s business search will tell you which account a domain is filed under today.

Balances and disputes after the exit
The exit came in two waves rather than one, and putting the notices side by side is what shows it: regentplay.com, queenplay.com and plazaroyal.com all give 28 May 2026 as their last day, whereas playfrank.com gives 30 June 2026 and names AG Communications Limited plus the licence number, where the earlier ones name Aspire Global International LTD of Malta. Every one of them sets out the same route for anyone still owed money: balance and pending-withdrawal queries go to a support address on the Aristocrat domain – the parent company – and the named ADR provider is eCOGRA, reachable once you have the operator’s final response or after eight weeks, whichever comes first. If a complaint lands with the wrong body, IBAS will route it on. Keep the licence number 039483-R-319409-018 to hand; it identifies the account whichever brand you played under.
Sanctions on file – two actions, three years apart
The Gambling Commission has taken action against AG Communications Limited twice.
On 14 November 2022 it imposed a £237,600 financial penalty, a formal warning and additional licence conditions, after the licensee could not show it had carried out appropriate due diligence on six third party white label businesses trading under its licence. The added conditions required risk based due diligence on third party transactions.
On 4 February 2025 a regulatory settlement followed a section 116 review of the remote licence. AG Communications agreed a payment in lieu of a financial penalty of £1,407,834 plus £220,334 divested, together with Commission costs and a public statement. The findings ran across social responsibility duties as much as anti money laundering controls, with breaches dated between May 2023 and October 2024 and one self exclusion failing dating back to October 2022.
Only the 2025 settlement appears in the Gambling Commission records, where the actions counter for 39483 reads one. The 2022 penalty sits in the Commission enforcement pages instead. The counter is a current actions figure rather than a full history, so it is worth reading alongside those pages and not in place of them.
