Neither casino named here is a sister of Mr Mega and neither shares its old licence; each is picked purely because it is open, British-licensed, and answers a different kind of player. What follows describes what each site actually offers, not the current joining deal, which changes too often to print reliably.
🔄 Karamba and Hopa, still trading on the same account
Going quiet on one licence is not the same as finishing. Karamba and Hopa, both once filed beside Mr Mega, now sit together on the White Hat Gaming Limited account, each entered there as a White Label brand. Neither puts a joining offer on its front page and neither carries a promotions link in its menu today.
What the pair do show plainly is how closely built they are. Menus match, game shelves match, and the totals match down to the number: 69 popular titles, 48 new arrivals and 50 featured games on both, checked side by side on 15 August 2026. Two names, one build. An exclusion set directly with either brand while it traded under Aspire Global does not automatically carry across to its new home; GAMSTOP is the exclusion that does, covering every UK-licensed site regardless of which company holds the licence.
📄 Three Aspire-linked licences, one of them never had a website
A British gambling business cannot sell to UK players without an entry on the Gambling Commission public file, and that file is free for anyone to search. Mr Mega sat under the entry held by AG Communications Limited. Searching the same records for the word Aspire turns up two further, separate entries: one held by AG Software Limited, and a second held by Aspire Global Limited. Neither has been covered on this site before now.
AG Communications and AG Software share a single head office in St Julians, Malta, and file one trading name between them. Aspire Global Limited sits at a different Malta address, in Taxbiex. AG Communications carries casino, betting and bingo cover plus 76 web addresses, every one of them shut. AG Software carries the same three permissions and files no web address whatsoever. Aspire Global Limited carries a single permission, for supplying gambling software, running since 30 March 2015, and it too files no address of its own.
⚙ The software licence that outlived the brands
A gambling software permission covers the machinery other companies build their casinos on top of, rather than a consumer-facing site of its own. Aspire Global Limited has held one for over a decade and holds nothing besides it, which is exactly the shape a pure supplier leaves on a public file: permission to build, no brand to sell through.
That distinction matters here because while Mr Mega traded, the company holding the licence and the company behind the platform were one and the same, so every brand sharing the licence was also sharing the software underneath. What changed is that the consumer-facing layer closed while the supply layer kept running. No source available checks which brands, if any, run on that software today, so nothing here names one; the entry files no addresses at all, and a guess is not a fact.
🏢 The account behind the closures
The entry for AG Communications states 78 web addresses in its summary while the table underneath lists 76, and nothing on the file explains the gap, so both numbers are printed here rather than one chosen over the other. All 76 listed addresses read Inactive, yet the single trading name and every permission on the entry are still marked Active, a live licence with nothing trading behind it.
Two enforcement outcomes sit against this account. The newer one, a settlement decided 4 February 2025 with its public statement published a month later, saw AG Communications Limited reach a £1,407,834 settlement, paid in place of a financial penalty and including £220,334 of customer money divested after a loss-limit system failed for a group of older accounts, on top of money put toward covering what the investigation cost; one self-exclusion failing, running October 2022 to May 2024, sits within the same case. An earlier case, dated 14 November 2022, brought a formal warning, extra licence conditions and a £237,600 penalty, after the company could not evidence adequate due diligence on six partner businesses operating under the same permission. Only the newer case shows on the current live counter; the older one survives in the wider enforcement archive instead.

💰 Chasing a balance, and the self-exclusion question
Money left in a Mr Mega account did not vanish when the site did. The route back to it starts with the email address used while the account was open, stating the username, the balance believed owed, and expecting to prove identity before anything is released. Whatever sits there is protected at a medium rating, meaning it was kept apart from company money rather than backed by any government guarantee.
Where a direct request stalls, eCOGRA is the free, independent complaints service named for this family of brands, and it can be approached after a final response arrives, or once eight weeks pass without one, whichever happens sooner; IBAS is the fallback where the right route is unclear. Neither the regulator nor this page adjudicates an individual balance; the named service does.

🔍 What sits at the Mr Mega address now
Old lists naming Mr Mega sister sites keep circulating mostly because they were written while the addresses were live and never revisited, and because they count web addresses rather than businesses, which is exactly why the totals disagree, 78 in one column and 76 in another on the very same file. Searching the regulator records for Mr Mega, or for Mr Play, returns one account each and no more; Karamba and Hopa return two apiece, which is what a brand looks like once it has changed hands rather than simply closed.
The Mr Mega web address itself leads today to a listing called Find Top Online Casinos, credited to a business named Sharp Connection Ltd, which holds no gambling licence of its own. It ranks other operators and discloses that it may earn commission whenever a reader joins one through its listings. It takes no deposits, and it is not the same casino picking back up.
