Regent Play Sister Sites

The last day Regent Play took a player was 28 May 2026, and a plain notice explaining that is still the only thing sitting at its old address. Nobody new has taken the domain over, which sets it apart from several former sisters whose old addresses now serve someone else entirely.

📜 What the notice at the old address says

The page waiting at the Regent Play domain gives 28 May 2026 as the final day of trading and names Aspire Global International LTD, a Malta company, as the operator behind the closure. That is worth flagging plainly: elsewhere on this account the licence holder is recorded as AG Communications Limited, a different legal name for what appears to be the same underlying business, and both names are printed here rather than one quietly chosen over the other.

A balance left in the account has a real route back. The account-opening email is the right starting point, stating the username and the amount owed, with an identity check to be expected before release. Funds held this way carry a medium protection rating, which means segregation from company money rather than any state-backed guarantee. If a written approach goes unanswered, eCOGRA handles complaints for this operator free of charge once it has given a final response or eight weeks have run out; IBAS exists to redirect a complaint sent to the wrong place.

🏢 The licence Regent Play traded on

The Gambling Commission entry Regent Play sat under belongs to AG Communications Limited, whose head office is given as St Julians, Malta. Casino cover has run there since 1 November 2014, with betting on real events joining 28 September 2017 and bingo 27 August 2019, every permission still marked Active. The summary at the top of the entry counts 78 web addresses; the table beneath counts 76, and neither figure explains the other, so both are printed here. Every listed address, Regent Play among them, now reads Inactive, leaving a licence with permissions switched on and nothing trading behind them.

📋 The account in short, 14 August 2026

  • Casino cover since 1 November 2014, betting and bingo added later
  • 78 addresses claimed in the summary, 76 counted in the table
  • Every address on the account now reads Inactive
  • All three permissions remain marked Active despite the shutdown

⚖ Two enforcement outcomes, only one on the live counter

The account carries two separate regulatory outcomes. A settlement dated 4 February 2025, published a month later, ended with AG Communications Limited handing over £1,407,834 in place of a fine, of which £220,334 was money divested after a loss-limit system broke down for a batch of older accounts, alongside costs toward the investigation, with a single self-exclusion failing on record spanning October 2022 through to May 2024. Before that, on 14 November 2022, the company took a £237,600 penalty, a formal warning and added licence conditions for failing to evidence due diligence on six partner businesses trading on its permission. Only the more recent case shows on the account public counter today; the older one has to be looked up separately in the enforcement archive to be seen at all.

🌐 How the closure came about

The wider business behind this account was bought by a company called NeoGames in 2022, and NeoGames was itself absorbed into Aristocrat two years later, in 2024. Material issued by the company frames the wave of British closures that followed as a commercial choice to leave the UK consumer market, not as a licence being pulled by the regulator, and that framing is repeated here as sourced context rather than confirmed independently.

🔄 What happened to the other addresses

Regent Play was one of dozens of addresses on the same account, and most of the roster went dark alongside it. QueenPlay and Plaza Royal closed the same way, with their own notices still standing at the domain. Casiplay and King Casino are also marked Inactive, with no replacement operator at either address. Two of the addresses did not simply go quiet: Slotzo and Mr Mega now serve unconnected comparison sites, run by third parties with no gambling licence of their own, rather than the casinos that used to trade there.

A smaller group left the account instead of dying with it. 666 Casino kept its own name and moved to Jupiter Gaming Limited; HeySpin moved to Jumpman Gaming Limited; Karamba and Griffon Casino both moved to White Hat Gaming Limited. An exclusion set directly with one of those brands while it traded here should not be assumed to have followed it across; only GAMSTOP travels automatically, since it locks a player out of every UK-licensed site at once, whichever company happens to hold the licence.

  • ✅ Safe: pursuing a balance through the licence holder rather than the domain, since the licence, not the website, is what stays answerable.
  • ❌ Costly: waiting for regentplay.com to reopen. Nothing on the account, and nothing in how the rest of the roster closed, points that way.

🔗 Where the rest of this file sits

The same repurposed-address pattern is covered in full on Slotzo and Mr Mega. The three brands that moved on rather than closing have their own pages too: 666 Casino, HeySpin and Karamba, alongside Griffon Casino on the same White Hat Gaming account. Plaza Royal shut in the same wave as this page.
